My room was interior facing toward the pool. Extraordinarily quiet and great fit out, sheets, water pressure etc. Had a fantastic sleep. Not sure if the rooms on the other side of the hall faced the street and might have had noise. So it's a great resort type hotel but about a 15 minute walk to the Polanco action cafe restaurante area and just not much action near the hotel. Also because the hotel is horizontal (3 stories) not vertical. The walk within the hotel to your room can be pretty long. This hotel is now considre3d a bit dated so it's a lot less expensive than competing 5 star hotels. For a great pool area and a good sleep this is your place. But to get to Polanco action you will need an uber.

The lobby is beautiful, La Huerta breakfast buffet is fantastic. Rating it low because there is clearly a huge mold problem in the rooms. The smell was so strong, and by the third day my throat and lungs hurt badly and I spent days coughing. There's a ton of moisture and no way to remove it (no vents or windows). It's a serious health hazard and they need to do something.

Very terrible customer service, unfortunately do no recommend. I’ve been using Expedia to book VIP at hotels like this one and each and everyone has gone what seems to be above and beyond to provide a top tier experience with their customer service. Not hotel Polanco! I made an error in my hotel booking and they were extremely unforgiving and despite me wanted to book with them on a separate day they made sure I would never get the opportunity to stay with them but being inflexible with booking dates. What can you do?! Go somewhere else.
