The hotel is gorgeous even going through a renovation. The only flaw hot tub is out and so is the fire pit. Like I said renovations.

The room I had was very spacious and very nice fixtures, finishes, and furnishings. Air conditioning seemed to have an issue and made some noise. Very clean and quiet. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order. Breakfast was good, but nothing great. Enjoyable stay.

Front desk staff wasn't very informative or responsive. Our bathroom wasn't clean and there was hair in our shower and the floor wasn't swept. Breakfast buffet was lacking and didn't support food allergies.

The staff was so very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to take care of us.it appears they have updated carpeting and wallpaper and baths. The beds comfortable. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Great views. I would stay there again

This property is going through multiple changes, including a name change to Hampton Inn from Holiday Inn Express, that I was not informed me. As I checked in, after 3:30pm, I was told by the front desk person that my room was not ready and to leave a number where I could be contacted. When I asked when the room would be available, the same person told me that she wasn't sure. I was kindly informed that I could wait by the pool, but wasn't told how long the wait would be in the 77 degree weather. Since I was not sure how long I would wait for my room to be available, I inquired if I could switch to another room, that was available. This was something the front desk did do, but with hesitation. Also, while booking this trip more than a month ago, I indicated that I was traveling with a pet, and I complied with the requests. After checking in and unloading my luggage, and with my pet next to me, the same front desk lady mentioned, "You have a pet. Good thing I caught that, since it cost $75.00 for your pet." I told her, "Do what you want." I told her that I went through Expedia and I mentioned that I was traveling with a pet, and I knew how much the fee was." Her tone was more concerned with charging a pet fee than accommodating me with a room that should have been ready at 3:00pm. There are more concerns I share, and I will not be returning to this specific hotel, regardless if I have regular travel plans to this city.

They are renovating this property. Our room was great , but we arrived and room wasn't ready at check in and the elevator did not work when we were bringing in our stuff. Later it was fixed. Pool was great breakfast was good. I would stay again but disappointed they didn't offer some sort of comp for the room and elevator not working. When finished im aure will be nice.
