Just okay

Great customer service and location but condition of the room and bathroom was very poor. Cannot control AC temperature asked for a portable fan. Shower head broken water coming out everywhere. Not much toiletries just shampoo and bar soap. No tissue paper, vanity set, no hand or face towel. No safe box, had to carry around a huge wood key chain for room key, bigger than my cross body bag Pictures very nice but not the way the room is.

Arrived at 4:30 pm the room was not ready. When we finally got in the room the last century tv did not work, the fridge was also on its last leg. There were no glasses in the room. One of the lamps had a short, I disconnected it.. let’s forget about the seemingly clean floor until you walked barefoot on it. I would pass on this hotel

Great hotel for historians, one of Merida's oldest hotels. Nice restaurant and pool. Walking distance to a few nice parks and restaurants. Air conditioning was unable to cool off the room, even at high cool setting, which is the main reason for the one star rating. If AC doesn't work, that automatically results in one star. No free off-site parking as described in hotel listing. The only parking option was off-site public parking for MXN 50 pesos. There is no on-site parking available, not even for a fee, contrary to listing details.

The room was very nice. Clean, & all outlets worked. Staff is very responsive, & speaks English. Pool area was lovely. Location was close to restaurants & a little shopping, with coffee shop right across street. Restaurant downstairs was good!

Merida was OK, with a lot of things closed randomly. A bigger issue was our room, on a busy road and no soundproofing. It was also dated and a bit rough. This place has little charm except for the staff.
