It was fun to stay in a castle! We asked for a cot for our teen daughter. It was not very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a gorgeous claw foot tub which added to the charm. The tile and grout were clean & fresh. There was nowhere to put your clothes or toiletries in the bathroom though - a small stool or shelf would help. Staff was courteous.

My family had a good stay at Broomhall Castle. Check in was easy and they helped us find our room. The room was large with plenty of space. The carpet is a little worn but not too bad. We thought our sink didn’t have water, but we just had to turn the handles about 10 times. Dinner at Castle View, the associated restaurant, was very good. Overall, we’d stay there again.

We stayed for one night in this castle. Not fancy but the rooms were clean, the and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was quite good, especially the included breakfast.

This is a great accommodation choice for the experience of staying in a castle, it just needs some TLC as was only reopened several weeks before we arrived, staff are friendly and certainly try to ensure your comfortable.

The price was not worth the stay. Rooms were not sweep from previous visitors with crumbs still on the floor. The beds were so very old I could feel each spring beneath me. The food at the included breakfast was amazing. The separate prices dinner was also a delight.

The staff try very hard to make it welcoming and hospitable. The restaurant is seriously understaffed. The food was amazingly good, but service was slow with 10 people total to serve. They need more staff, but that takes money, and I think they are struggling. Too bad, because this is a unique hotel. Lots of atmosphere.
