We were put in a first-floor room where construction was being done to the hotel's exterior, including our room's wall. During our entire stay, plastic was taped over the window, and a crane and workers were staging outside our window.

The staff was very pleasant and even gave us a different room because of exterior painting happening near our original room but unfortunately we had cockroaches in our bathroom and after I arrived home I noticed I was covered in bed bug bites!! We mentioned the cockroaches to the front staff when we left but didn't realize it was infested with bed bugs since the bite marks can take up to week to show on the skin. very disappointed to day the least. we picked this hotel because it was close to Beale St. but i would definitely not reccommend it to anyone.

For us this was a convenient hotel to stay in as we were going to a basketball game at the FedEx Forum (about a 10 minute walk), Beale Street (about a 10 minute walk) and downtown (about a 15 minute walk straight down Union Street). There was plenty of well-lit secure parking. Check in was quick and the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was good with quite a few choices. Nothing too fancy but filling! Our room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Good shower. No in-room safe. There was construction on the outside of the hotel; however, during our stay there was no construction noise and it did not inconvenience us in any way other than having to walk around some Genie lifts in the parking lot. The area seemed safe during the day although we stayed to the main streets. We did walk to the basketball game and Beale Street in the evening (not too late) and there was a police presence keeping an eye on the crowds. On a weekday evening near the end of October, it was quiet in this area.

Walked in yhe lobby looked spacious with comfortable seating. Plus it looked modernized and smelled Great. Excellent gym and warm pool. Breakfast was exceptional.

It was close to Beale St and all the attractions we went to see. Sataff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff made sure we and the couple we we travelling with were right the hall from each other. Very much appreciated!

We had a nice time. Hotel is in a good location only a few blocks from Beale Street and the Riverfront. Free parking for a place so close to downtown was a definite plus. They are currently upgrading the building on the outside, so there is quite a bit of construction material and trucks around the building. Overall, it served our purpose well and we’d stay there again for sure.

The only negative I have is the shower. The shower head is in an awkward position and there’s no way to turn it on without getting shot with cold water. Otherwise, I’d definitely stay at this location again.

It was easy to walk to Beale street from this hotel. There was plenty of free parking. The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions. Our room was clean and breakfast was very good.
