I would like to commend the front desk young lady named Precious! She lives up to her name well. Management did not portray professionalism nor hospitality at all and never greeted us. Firstly, we were greeted with staff hovering around the front desk area. Proceeded to the elevator to go to our room and discovered that the lamp on the left side of the bed did not work, so I couldn’t charge my phone close to me just in case a call came through. Secondly, feeling very cold wanted to use the coffee maker for hot tea, however, it was screaming from the dust and dirt that has settled on it for a very long time. Now I have to get dressed and go to the lobby for hot water in which I was too tired to even be bothered. The wait was 2 days after check in for this small issue that was promised to be resolved the 1st day. Of course, the same coffee maker was still in the room upon check out 5days later. Thirdly, $17 for breakfast to sit there and stare at dead bugs in the window sill. Old rooms need to be remolded/updated. Unhappy HH Member

Nice hotel, close to a ton of restaurants, whole foods, and shopping. Very safe parking lot which is patrolled by security and Memphis police 24/7. I'd stay here again.

The stay at the hotel was as expected, since I have stayed there many times. However, my car was broken into while on the property grounds. Safety is a number one concern for me and my family. This incident has completely changed my view of this property.

Decent but expected more from this hotel chain
The hotel was decent for a two night stay but I did expect a few more basic amenities for this to be DoubleTree by Hilton. The refrigerator in my room was warm and did not work. I immediately called the from desk and they sent facilities to come check it. He ended up switching it out for one that did work. There was no microwave I the actual room so while you could have a cold beverage in your room you had to go downstairs to the lobby to heat up food. I was eating my leftover seafood boil which did smell up the lobby. It would've been better to have been able to heat this up in my own room. I did eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was good. Normal hotel food pricing. Parking lot was small but I never had an issue getting a spot. I can see this being an issue if the hotel is full. Overall my stay was acceptable.

The hotel featured a bar that serves excellent food by a well-known local restaurantaur. SERVICE at the bar was crazy bad (the staff themselves commented on how they kept "forgetting us" ) even though we were seated RIGHT AT THE BAR. The food was fantastic.
