Comfortable but very noisy . I come down to Melville Long Island often to visit family and friends this is two years in a row that we have had noise problems and for the price it’s not worth it anymore will have to find another hotel . But on a lighter note the guy Steve next to us in rm322 got very lucky about 3am I got his name from the moaning

The Hilton is conveniently located with a lot of dining options nearby, which has helped when visiting friends and family in the area. The breakfast available in the lobby is excellent as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's overall a great place to stay.

Stayed here with my children many times and have enjoyed it. The food is good and rooms are very clean. Not happy about the pool this stay. It was very dirty and needed to be cleaned.

The lobby was very nice and clean but the rooms are very dated and the walls are paper thin. The guest next to us had his/her television on full blast from 6pm until 12:30am. Had to call the front desk for assistance. Security responded and corrected the matter.

When I first checked in and went into the bathroom in the room the sink was clogged with nasty dirt gunk floating around. There was many cob webs under the tables and desks. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance person who plunged the sink with the same plunger I seen him use on the toilet. Gross. They switched rooms across the hall and that room was not the cleanest. the bathroom and tub was disgusting. I scrubbed it down for about 30 mins and still did not give my 2 young children a bath. Also there was not 1 towel in the new room they gave me. Horrible experience. The staff was very nice and as accommodating as they could be given the circumstances.

Very disappointing

We grew up in this area, and this was once a very nice hotel, which is why were especially disappointed with the accommodations. First and foremost, a plumbing or heavy machinery groan coming from beyond the walls of the room around the clock (from the elevator? ice machine? some serious plumbing problem within the walls?). I might have asked for a new room but I had already unpacked and I have serious back issues... and so I'd asked for a room with a short walk ("near the elevator?" "ok") and then was assigned a room halfway now a long hall, only to find a painting cart in front of an open room -- so this was already my second room. Within the hour, I was surprised by a text from the front desk, is everything ok, and I told the person about the noise and received a voucher for breakfast the next morning only (lol, we had plans, and 2 more days there). Other things: 2 bath towels, 1 washcloth, 1 face towel, no bathmat on arrival... view of exclusively a gravel roof with large fans and other heavy machinery... we were told nothing at the front desk about wi-fi, breakfast hours, other welcome info etc; given we are Rewards members we felt especially not particularly welcomed.
