Comfortable small hotel
Comfortable bedroom, good food, we ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Staff were friendly but the only let down was the bathroom which was very dated. Perfectly functional but could do with upgrading. Not really a problem but also there was no hairdryer, which has become normal in most hotels so hadn’t thought to take my own.

Warm, Welcoming and Wonderful
This really is a great place. The staff is fantastic! I was in a single room at the front of the hotel. The bed wasn't great. That is really my only concern. I was over the pub (which is wonderful!) so it was a bit noisy until closing. My solution for that: join in the fun. As just an FYI. If you're sensitive to light you'll have to bring an eye mask, but again an easy fix. This room must've been above the smoking area as it did stink. I'm sure I could've moved, no doubt the wonderful staff would've accommodated me but I just didn't say anything as I was only there 2 nights. I would recommend this place and stay again.

Had a one night stay with my dog. Had a single room, quite small, but with en-suite. Some of the stairs and hallways were in much need of redecorating. Overall really good value for money, although some areas looked a bit ‘tired’ linen was clean & bed comfortable. All in with Bed & breakfast better than camping & not much dearer. Would definitely go back.

would definitely stay here again
Would describe the place as "quaint", a bit run down (condition of bathrooms, floors) but also well cared for and clean (bedding/towels). Im certain all rooms differ, but we happened to have a lovely view out the window. Centrally located in Merose, friendly and accomodating staff. Included breakfast had a variety of options. Slept comfortably, would definitely stay here again.
