There was a noticeable stain on the carpet upon entry - it looked like a previous occupant had spilled a drink, and could easily have been removed with cleaning. The king bed mattress was too soft, and needed replacing as both persons sunk to the middle of the bed, resulting in me waking up with a sore lower back.

Room was clean but very small - deceptive compared to pictures. Being on level 8 and having to change lifts is not a good experience & again should be warned this can happen Parts of the stairwells & surrounds were quite dirty

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Victoria Hotel, Melbourne. The hotel foyer, staff, and room were all of high quality, however a USB port in the bedroom would have been great to charge phones or tablet. Also parking in the area was greatly hampered by road closures etc; which cannot be helped.
