Magical Stay for Christmas
Absolutely magical stay right before Christmas. The room was stunning we upgraded to a river room and it was out of this world. The cleanness of the hotel is next level. Everything was spotless. The robes were actually soft and beautiful to wear and they don’t have those silly coat hangers which are stuck in the cupboard in case you steal one. Things are actually thought through to make this the most amazing stay and when travelling with kids it’s always the small things which make the difference. Our little one was thrilled with the bath and we couldn’t get him out. The view from the room was excellent we could see everything and just chill and people watch. Already planning our next stay. Everyone we came across too were just lovely. Thanks Langham x

Classic Hotel With Attentive Staff
This is a classic hotel which is very well-managed and extremely well-located. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was spacious and very quiet, and the buffet breakfast should be in the Hotel Breakfast Hall of Fame. Wow. Would definitely stay again.

I was charged a $500 security deposit on check-in (as a local) despite additionally prepaying for my stay, and I found an amount this high to be rude. I was told to carry our bags downstairs ourselves as the room was not ready. The room itself was comfortable, and the location was great. Whenever I needed something from the reception staff, they were always busy and slow. The room key stopped working, and I felt like I was in line at a bank to be asked for my ID, which I have never been asked to get a new key at a hotel. There was little care for the guest experience, and it seems like they have serious trust issues with guests, which is weird.

The best pillows and comfy beds. Perfect location and only minutes away by foot to Flinders St. It’s always super quiet in the rooms, never hearing noise from neighbouring rooms. It’s our favourite place to stay when in Melbourne.

Reliable hotel.
Excellent location with easy access to city but away from the noise. Super comfortable bed and pillow. Clean, but somewhat dated, bathroom. Breakfast too expensive for the variety of food.

Great room and great service
Beautiful river view room, nicely decorated, comfortable. The included pool-spa-gym-sauna-steam were a big plus. The view from the jacuzzi spa was fabulous.
