Deluxe king suite was nice. However didnt use swimming pool or spa as it appeared dirty. Sauna was not available for repairs. Gym was clean and substantial. We has a small incident at the Buffet breakfast where on waiter gave us a table, however another waiter also gave our table to another party and they arched up and physically pulled my partner away. Then they argued with the waiter. Not a pleasant experience and this could have been avoided if staff had a better table system. Also staff accidentally drop a glass cup infront of us, shattering into peices. Overall breakfast was not enjoyable so we checked out early (even though I paid for late checkout) and went for breakfast elsewhere (even though i paid extra for the buffet breakfast).

The service of the staff at Little Collins Street Stamford was exceptional. This hotel has maintained its class edge over many hotels in the city. It was memorable for the service and comfort. Fabian the concierge would remember names of guests and provided helpful information on the city. He was passionate about his job when i say job i should say profession. He coukd be running a training program for hotels on guest management. His enthusiasm was felt in the foyer. All of your staff where all immaculate in their appearance. Thanks for the stay !

Enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious and facilities adequate. Staff very helpful and friendly. It did feel like it needed some life though, a bit of updating and modernising. Enjoyed the heated pool and spa.

A lovely grand building but looking a little dated with the furnishings. The cold tap sign fell off, the gold trim is corroded and the lounge and tables look a bit tired. The pool is quite small and the spa was being cleaned one morning so we couldn’t use it. The sauna and the gym were great. The bed was comfortable. Overall good value for the money.
