This was my second stay at this Hotel, the first time I was given an upgrade to a Premier room and was very happy with the accommodation, however this time had a standard room and have to say the decor was tired and the bathroom was very small. Also had loud noise of goods being delivered in the room above mine at 6.am. There is a big difference in the 2 types of room so I would recommend having the premium accommodation if possible. Staff were friendly and helpful, all amenities were clean. The situation is ideal for my purposes being only a few steps from Southern Cross station and close to tram stops.

I liked my stay at Batman on Collins. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were well trained, very pleasant to converse with and knowledgeable about the city. If I had to say anything it would be the bathroom was very small and there was absolutely no spare room to put clothes etc because the hand basin was outside the bathroom. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel.

An okay place to stay

Hotel was very conveniently located right across the road from Southern Cross railway station. I was allocated a room with disabled facilities (even though I am not disabled) so it was large. The bed was comfortable. My main problem was the air conditioner could not be regulated and was very cold. Reading showed 13degrees.

Nice location and staff were extremely friendly. Only thing you need to know is the staircase as you head to the lift from the reception. With a heavy suitcase, guests will struggle to get the suitcases down to the staircase to get onto the lift.

The windows had bird poo all over then, the air conditioner kept turn off we call reception a number of time and then they would send up the maintenance guy and he would stick in paper clip in the remote and would say it is fix but the 15 minutes later it would turn off again and this happened to many times. We have tried to contact them by email but they have not responded. We are discussed by this play and would never stay here again.
