Not sure if it was because it was my last night stay or they commonly have terrible housekeeping, but for my last night, it’s like they didn’t even bother. They didn’t even empty any of the trash bins, left my used glass and mug without replacing with new ones, and didn’t bother to look and replenish used tea bags from previous nights. Looks like they only came in and changed one used towel and haphazardly made up the bed (don’t think they change sheets), doubtful they even do any other cleaning in the bathroom. Kind of the point of staying in a hotel is to have some level of turndown service. A bit of a disappointment when I’ve been out all day to come back to this on my last night.

I actually did not expect it to be as good as it was for the price inlight of staying at an inferior and slightly more expensive one a little further down the road but very pleased with service, condition, view, location and King size bed a bonus

Lovely hotel only thing was it says quiet rooms ours wasnt we had lift on one wall and a very noisy alley/aircon system outside window. Cleaning staff very polite but didnt fill our tea/coffe/sugar/milk up for 4 days had to keep asking but all in all good hotel

We loved our stay at the View Melbourne. From check-in to checkout everything was wonderful. The buffet breakfast is lovely to wake up to each morning. The staff, all of the staff, were amazing. Nothing, including getting my car out of a tricky situation, was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

We had a group of 7. One of the rooms for 3 people only had 1 bed. The staff did arrange a 2nd bed. We did like the downstairs bar, restaurant and outdoor area where we could all hang out as a group. The staff were great and the coffee was amazing.

Great Location Staff were very friendly upon arrival. Room temperature was set at perfect temperature so didn’t need to adjust. Walking distance to trams to get to many locations. Would definitely recommend this hotel

View Melbourne one word ‘Horrendous’. The night shift staff should be taught some hospitality skills and manners on how to speak politely. Rooms are pathetic. Bedsheets and blankets have stains despite requesting to change them it was not changed. I advise people to stay away from this junkyard. The staff here are absolutely terrible. Housekeeping staff : I don’t know what kind of cleaning they do seriously. Stay away and go for better options in Melbourne. I regret choosing this over Voco as we wanted something near St Kilda.

The hotel was excellent value and the room nice and spacious. Couple of things let it down . We were in a room that had interconnecting door and unfortunately you could hear everything that was going on next door . I asked if they had any other rooms but unfortunately they didnt have any other options available. It didnt spoil the stay but would have made it excellent. Location also great and easy access to the city on the tram

Nice and spacious room with convenient location and public transport. Walking distance to Albert Park. Generally clean, but there was a layer of dust on the bedside table and lamps. The only issue that annoyed me was that the room doors are loud, so I can hear the neighbours closing their doors. I was waked up by someone’s door at around 6 am one day.
