Peaceful oasis at Tullamarine
As it is relatively new, everything in the room is in order. It is quiet and just a short distance to T4 if you prefer or you can book to be transferred to the hotel.

Over all a great stay and convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The automated and pre-set everything was a bit of a pain and the arms length QRcode service for everything was a bit impersonal. Room service menu qr ordering didn’t work and a/c set as random unchangable so room went from cool to stuffy hot to cool to stuffy hot all night. But not a deal breaker - just not high end service

Finding the property, admittedly it is new, was difficult. The sign in the T4 carpark lobby indicated the direction but was located IN the terminal, pointing at the elevators and stairs. There was no other indication on how to get there. Auto check in was not functioning. Lights from surrounding buildings were shining through the curtain, which was not a blackout curtain. It is a new building, so, settling in grace granted.

Too hot! No way to cool down
The hotel is clearly trying to save in operations costs by not putting a phone in the trims, which means that if you need something in the middle of the night or have a question about the property or the amenities you have to physically get down to the lobby to ask. We were so hot in the middle of the night because the hotel doesn’t allow you to cool the room they way you need (again operating cost savings) it was brutal in there compared to what we’re used to. I went down to ask for a fan and there wasn’t any… and to top it off I felt sick in the guts after my meal from the restaurant on site. Far from good. Don’t let the flashy and brand new appearance fool you, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired.
