Awesome family time.

We had an amazing family time at Crowne Plaza. Perfect location and accessible to public transport just in front of the hotel. Kids had fun in the pool. The room was clean and had the perfect view on the river and the crown flames at night. Lots of restaurants around and in the building whcih even offer room services. We will definitely come back.

It would have been nicer if we had the view side of the property instead of the pool side. The entrance to the building was difficult too, the person at the door should have told us to take out our bags from the car instead of making us bring them from the car park not close to the entry. Otherwise room was clean and well presented. Staff were helpful when needed.

Clean and comfortable

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, close to everything we wanted to see. Extremely clean rooms and gym facilities. Good amount of gym equipment and machines. Pool was ok, not heated but very refreshing and a very small number of lounge chairs.

Check in was at 3pm, we arrived at 4pm and was told that our room still wasn’t ready and we would need to wait another 20-25 minutes. When questioned about why our room wasn’t ready as check in was at 3pm, the receptionist just smiled and said housekeeping. Our room had no cutlery, no plates, no cups, nothing. We had a bin with no bin bag in it. Had 1 towel for 4 occupants. Seems as if they tried to rush the housekeeping job and forgot a lot of things.

Prime city location

A nice hotel in a really good location. I arrived in a car and left it in the car park for the for the duration of my stay. You only pay $17 for each exit and it is only about a 2-3 minute walk to reception.

Room was central to the casino and the aquarium. Short walk to the cbd and trams are easily accessible. Otties breakfast dine-in was a mouth-watering experience, well worth the small price add-on to our stay. The room was well prepared and comfortable considering the size.
