Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and it’s always hit and miss. I was recepted in by a female with an accent that acknowledged no understanding of my VIP status and when I questioned it rudely stated that I had purchased a seperate room and that check out was at 10am. Pretty sure I have had this same kind of service from the same person on previous stays. However never an issue when someone else serves me. Lucky for her a male that was working with her quickly jumped in and was amazing in regards to acknowledging my status, upgrading my room and also stating that the check out time was 12. However cleaning staff knocked on my door continuously at 10:20 asking what time I was checking out so better comms are needed there.

always stay here, very convenient

Always stay here in Melbourne. It is clean and comfortable with excellent staff. The free tram is outside the door and it is a short walk from the skybus or train terminal. There is a coles supermarket across the road. There is also a DFO nearby.The area has plenty of small mostly Asian eateries. It is a short walk to other eateries or the tram into the main mall in Melbourne.

We had a great stay but, upon check-out the desk clerk lacked enthusiasm and didn’t even ask how our stay was! We’ve been staying at this hotel for over 15 years and she clearly couldn’t care less!!

The property is well located in the city with easy parking. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were very helpfull. We were in melbourne for a concert at festival hall and it was a 700mt walk. Just not many dinning options around was the only down fall.

We booked Atlantis Hotel for our trip to Melbourne, and it turned out to be one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences we have ever had. Firstly, our initial room, booked through Expedia (from January 5 to 6), was extremely disappointing. We were given the worst room without a window, located in a corner and designated for people with disabilities. Staying in this room was extremely uncomfortable and did not meet our expectations at all. When we approached the reception desk on the morning of January 6 to discuss the issue, the night shift staff member was rude and completely uninterested in resolving the problem. Furthermore, although we were initially informed that breakfast was included, we were made to pay for it. The breakfast itself was incredibly poor — just bread, coffee, and an omelet. Additionally, for our second booking (from January 6 to 11), we decided to check out on the morning of January 6 due to the terrible conditions and appalling attitude of the staff. However, the hotel refused to refund any money for the unused nights, even though we left the room immediately and promptly requested a cancellation. In conclusion, the service quality was dreadful, the staff lacked professionalism, and the management showed absolutely no willingness to accommodate their guests. We are deeply disappointed with this hotel and strongly advise against staying here. This is not a place where you can expect decent treatment as a guest.

Nice Hotel in Melbourne

Nice hotel near the 35 tram which circles the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast is somewhat limited (e.g. no fruit, eggs and beans for hot food) but worked for us. Limited towels in the room. No wash cloths. That was the biggest complaint. Overall I would recommend.

Felt safe being opposite the police station. Access to tram, train and shuttle bus to airport. Also within walking distance into shopping area for those able to do so. The room looked a bit tired and dated but the beds were very comfortable and the area was clean which was what we were hoping. It was also lovely and quiet. We were able to check in early than 2pm. They also looked after our luggage after we checked out until we left for airport.

The staff are excellent, friendly and extemely helpful. The room and hotel itself are quite 'tired' and could probably benefit with some refurbishment. Our room floor was uneven, there was a wet patch just in-front of the fridge. Room was humid and stuffy (and has a strange smell) unless you turn the air condition on full blast. For the price paid however, couldn't complain too much. The room was quite and we can have a good night sleep which is really the basic (as long as the air conditioning is on). The rest little things we can deal with.

Address is well located to all public transport. Rooms are adequate for short term stay. Normally rooms are clean and well serviced. Unfortunately on this occasion surfaces had been wiped over with a greasy cloth and the food soil of an infant's fingers on window, sofa, wall, blind and wall picture were unacceptable. Chipped glass in fridge. Half the reported issues were promptly corrected. Air conditioning worked but was very noisy clicking on and off all night.
