The staff was very friendly and helpful, always attentive. The location is quite good, very central. While the hotel shows its age, it is still well-maintained. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the TV quality was terrible, as if it had a poor signal. In the room we stayed in, 304, the Wi-Fi signal was weak, and on my side of the bed, there was no outlet to plug in my phone. They've made attempts to modernize the hotel, but the cables are visible everywhere, and the electronic equipment could be better.

I recently stayed at Hotel Du Parc in Medellín, and while the exterior looks modest, the interior is absolutely stunning! The rooms are spacious, complete with a kitchen and bar, and even feature a lovely balcony. Although I didn’t have much time to fully enjoy the room, it would be perfect for a long-term stay. The rooftop view of Medellín is breathtaking.The restaurant’s breakfast was truly a 5-star experience. There was an omelette station, and the staff brought me my omelette when it was freshly made. They offer a wide variety of options, along with delicious coffee choices. I had an early flight on my last day, so I missed the breakfast, which was a bit of a disappointment, but every other day it was a highlight of my stay.On my final night, the staff went above and beyond by offering complimentary drinks to our floor, made fresh right in front of us. I had a margarita, and it was impressive! The staff were kind and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to assist.However, there was a small communication issue due to my limited Spanish. I thought I had arranged a taxi for the airport, but there was a misunderstanding, and the taxi wasn’t ordered. We still made it in time, but it would be helpful if there were a clearer way for non-Spanish speaking guests to arrange taxis.Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Du Parc for anyone looking for an upscale, long-term stay. I wish I could have stayed longer!
