It was ok The place snd the areas are unique, I would like to rate the hotel as 5 . The service at breakfast was disappointed , only 2 waiters, one cleaning the table the second busy to gust service. Ask fo omlet that not arrived, no refill of the ages and the orangjuice at the self service table , The hotel in general required aome refreshment. The rromes are dated , the lobby furniture are old I would return because of the area but don”t expect luxury as it should seen in first look

You're in a palace. What more do you need? Though, the rooms are a little older and run down, you're in a palace! They were clean and comfortable enough. It's so beautiful just to sit inside or in the gardens. Walking around Bussaco forrest is one of the most incredible experiences of my life. This was my second visit and I will be returning.

Amazing exterior but super simple and basic rooms. There's no hair conditioner in rooms. Old and uncomfortable beds. Do not recommend

The architecture is incredible - so beautiful and well kept, as are the surrounding gardens. The staff were all kind and helpful and friendly. The food was superb - and elegantly presented and served. The bathroom was functional and needs updating.
