The staff continually harassed me about payment. My mother paid for the room because she lives in Texas. I don’t know if I would recommend this hotel or not.

The rooms were great and well equipped. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The staff was pleasant Easy access to the hotel. Location to area amenities: shopping, dining, highway, recreation, outdoor park, and a bit of sidewalk. Also, close to DT Martinsburg and in walking or running distance, if you are like me, who relishes such! The convenience store was helpful to have on-site as well for a snack or drink. The food, teas, and coffee were horrendous! The food tasted very plasticky—just about everything I tried. I only tried the breakfast once for our entire stay and could not even finish the pancakes I made. Most times, the water for tea and the coffee was lukewarm. The water tasted horrible, too! I had to buy bottled water, coffee, and breakfast at nearby eateries. Too bad, there was no coffee press included in the room.

I like the Tru hotels. Especially no carpet in the rooms seems much more sanitary than carpet. Room was clean, amenities nice. I like the walk in showers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the coffee bar. Free breakfast selections are okay.

The rooms are great. Very modern and efficient. I only wish Hilton would have put a little more into sound proofing. When checking in both Cassandra and Jayden were fantastic. Jayden even volunteered to come in early to prepare breakfast because of a wrong listing about the start time.

would stay here again

my husband and i stayed here when we had a wedding to attend in shepherstown about 25 minutes away, but we chose this property due to the positive reviews and close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc. it was very clean, everything was in good condition, everything worked, and the room was cool and comfortable. breakfast was average- a few drinks to choose from, a couple dry cereal options, oatmeal, pancakes, bagels, omelets and sausage patties.
