Meh.
The stench in the room was so terrible that I could smell it on my clothing and belongings even after I left. Old discolored bedding. Sticky armchair. Dead flies all over the window sill. The light over the sink did not work.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was not a new structure and could use some upgrades, but it provided a good night's sleep and pleasant accommodations. The staff was friendly. Parking was very accessible and the location was close to the interstate.

Overall, a decent place to crash overnight during a long road trip. Conveniently located off the highway, next to a truck stop. The outside lighting is non-existent so if I was a female traveling alone I would hesitate to park far from the entrance. The staff was very nice. The room was clean except the towels from the previous guest were left balled up in the shower stall.

If it was the only place to stay I’d be camping.
They turn the hot water heaters off sometime around noon and back on around 4am. There were bugs in the room. The room smelled of cigarettes and curry. The carpeting was sticky and the bathroom floor was oily’ish.

We stayed five nights. We woke up the last night to find our the floor in our room flooded from the AC leaking. They refused to refund our money for the night or to give us another room. The clerk wanted us to stay in the room until the housekeeps came in the morning and a repair came to fix the AC. This was our fifth night in a row staying at the hotel. I had been staying there two to three nights a week as I was working in Montezuma overnights as a nurse. I called the police who arrived and advised me they frequently receive complaints from people having problems with the management and the policeman advised me not to stay there anymore, but to go to Grinnell instead.
