Perfect location

My choice of this hotel was mainly because of its location, right in the center, near Koutubia mosque and Jmaa el Fnaa square and on the way to another hotel i choose. Very basic hotel that needs renovation, very basic amenities, not so clean, but good for night or two, if you looking for a safe place in the center of Marrakech and close to Medina.Breakfast is a also basic, but the view from the balcony on Koutubia mosque was great!

The room is old and dirty. The bed is clean. The staff never replies to my emails nor message queries. The person serving us breakfast was impolite and yet asked for a 50 dollar tip. The hotel is near the mosque. Their prayers could be heard clearly in the room till late.

Great location and facilities. Rooftop bar restaurant witg amazing views to the Katoubia mosque. Staff excellent. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Usual Moroccan tendency to falling at the last small thing- no soap or shampoo & bathtub chipped & uninviting. But otherwise excellent.

Great location, rooms not so much but cheap.

The location is great, it can not be better. Rooms however are not great. Some rooms are not very clean and some smell a little. Is a good low price for the location though. If you are looking for something convenient and cheap this is the hotel for you. Taxy from this area to airport cost around 100 Morrocan Dirham and around 200 from Airport to Koutoubia Mosque(most emblematic building in Marrakesh) which is right in front of this hotel.

Hotel Islane - great value in a great location

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Islane - it's location is super , just a few minutes walk from Djemma El Fna but relitavely quiet. It has a great outlook onto the koutoubia mosque and a lovely roof top restaurant. The rooms are good, slightly worn and basic but it is not expensive so I think it's overall good value for money and I would be happy to stay there again.

A good stay

The location is brilliant - close to the old part and next to the square. The hotel stars reflect the quality of the hotel and this is what to expect. The place was clean and the staff friendly. The terrace has a great view and we had no problems.

Nice hotel with a view to the Koutobia moske

I have stayed here before. Its a nice hotel with helpful staff. From the restaurant and the breakfast area can you see the Koutoubia Moske. Near the Djama el Fna and souk.

Please stay away

Very bad experience with bed bugs, or mosquito, I'm not really sure. Something bite me and my wife for 2 days. We changed the room, but it did not help. We asked for refund for the remaining two days, the management ignored us. Please stay away from this hotel, spite the amazing location in old Marrakesh and the famous Jamih Alfana.

Needs a lot of refurbishment - but good location

Only good thing was location which was excellent. But hotel condition was way below par. Bathroom was third world level. There was a stink coming from bathroom/shower at night. Restaurant balcony view was excellent and staff were pleasent enough as most people in Morocco are. Only stay if you're bothered about hotel quality.

Good value for money.

Hotel is in a prime location right next to the square & directly opposite the amazing 12th Century Koutoubia Mosque. The Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. It represents good value for money. You get what you pay for. One downside is the shower didn't have a surround therefore water can easily go all over. Also the wifi is poor.

I spent three days In that hotel in terms of location the hotel is situated on the edge of Madina two minutes walk WC with hilarious shower inside the room also the room have TV, hair dryer and AC work fine with heat sorry no hot water breakfast acceptable 2 days no cheese and the next day no Biskut first day no juice regardless of the AFS breakfast .hotel clean and the staff is very helpful and excellent service.I would like to thank Eman, Latifah,Ibrahim, Hasan for making my stay Pleasant

The hotel location is the only convenient thing.

The hotel is located directly in Al fana square. It's suitable for singles and group of friends but not convenient at all for families. All the hotel staff are very cooperative . I would like to thank all of them especially the French supervisor .
