Check-in was slow as there was apparently only one computer and they were taking a reservation at that moment, the persons credit card confirmation was a challenge and a line formed for check-in where we all witnessed the frustration of the staff with this process. Not a good first impression. The room was laid out wierd with the bed right in front of the door, the hotel is old, but it was clean.

Do not believe when they say rooms are soundproof. After 7:30pm the noise in the hallway was unacceptable. We were in room 9 on the first floor and we could hear every time any door closed, or walked outside our room. When people were talking we could hear the entire conversations clearly. When we finally got to sleep we were woken up by the housekeeper knocking on a room yelling “housekeeping”! The hotel was very old, the mattress was not so comfortable and pillows get flat fast.

We stayed at the Pictured Rocks Inn and Suites in May 2025. The hotel is older. The room was clean, but smaller than expected. Instead of Queen Size double beds, we had Full Size double beds. That doesn't give much room for 2 people sharing a bed. The bathroom was also small, as the bathtub and toilet were cramped into a small bathroom. The sink was outside, in the hotel room itself. Breakfast is not included. However, if you take a Pictured Rocks cruise, you can get a free Pictured Rocks book in the gift shop by showing your hotel key holder. The parking was around the building. We were told not to park in the spaces past the swimming pool area, but to park in the back instead. We were able to park next to the swimming pool area. However, next to the parking is a cannabis dispenser business. We were not thrilled about that. Overall, the hotel was clean and was reasonably priced. The lady at the front desk was friendly. Queen beds and better parking would help make the stay better.

Good value, location. Spotless!

Very clean and comfortable room. Smelled fresh upon arrival. Spotless shower/bathroom. Beds were a bit too soft (but I understand people have different preferences). Good location, just blocks away from downtown, but pretty quiet.

Price was good. Room smelled like Lysol when we got in. Decent shape, no hot water at sink. Snowmobilers were loud coming and going. Outside and in rooms. Hot tub was out of commission. One main reason we wanted to stay.
