It’s your typical affordable U.P motel. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was only toast, cereal, a couple small muffins, and a little OJ, milk, and coffee. The room have not been updated in probably 40+ years, but were clean. The AC unit did not work. It’s not bad for the price.

Great place to stay

This is our go-to place to stay when we come to Marquette. It’s a unique place to stay, half of the place has a retro vibe while the other half seems more modern. The pool, sauna and hot tub have always been working when we stay here. Breakfast is always good, the rooms have always been clean, and the staff is friendly. You also can’t beat the prices!

I have stayed here before and will likely stay here again the only issues ive had so far is the air conditioning unit in the room im in during this stay cant keep up with the hot summer Temps and the bathroom smelt like swamp booty before anyone even used it rooms large enough to accommodate my needs and quieter then my last motel being im tucked back away from the busy highway a huge plus for someone just recovering from surgery staff is always fantastic here and more then willing to help in anyway they possibly can you really cant go wrong staying here for the price its well worth it

Line Workers were staying here too and so if you didn’t shower before 8am, you’ll get cold shower. Breakfast was not at all gluten friendly. Apparently the hot breakfast was only during summer and spring season, maybe fall too but not winter when it’s cold? Odd. Hot tub had to be cleaned so it wasn’t available consistent. Bed was comfortable. Was a bit disappointed since we always loved staying.

Aging motel

The lobby is great. Carb heavy breakfast options. The room and pool are aging, with mold in the shower and a very slow drain. Towels were thin and beds were very firm. The curtain in the room didn’t cover the window, the carpet was worn and dirty, and the furniture was old and worn. I guess you get what you pay for.
