This is one of two hotels in town. Although this is the lesser of two evils, it is getting worse. Mold on the ceiling above the tub/shower and down the side of the tub. They leave their laundry room open for guests to see ALL the dirty towels and linens piled up that need to be washed which is a big turn off and could be remedied by simply closing the door. Breakfast was okay, but they only put out a little bit at a time, so you have to wait for them to throw more in the microwave and bring out. Sausage was undercooked and greasy. I literally had to nuke it a little longer and then squeeze between napkins. Employees very nice and cordial.

Upgrades needed
The hotel is need of major renovations. Our bathroom ceiling had terrible patch work. If that had not been the closet hotel to our destination we would have checked out. It was only 1 night. Room furniture upgrades are needed. The staff was polite & professional despite their extreme busyness that afternoon. Overall the hotel was fine.

The staff was very friendly upon checkin and it was very fast. The only complaint and it was remedied quickly was there were no towels in the room. It’s convenient to Marion

Great place but salty breakfast
The rooms are clean and staff friendly, but the breakfast we had with biscuits and gravy was extremely salty. We mentioned it on the first day, but it was way too salty during our entire visit. Otherwise, the rest of the breakfast was great. And it is the best place to stay if you are in the Marion area.

Noted my bathroom had signs of loose wallpaper, peeling drywall, and handle on the commode was loose. Otherwise, the room was clean, cool and comfortable. Staff was capable and friendly, and complimentary breakfast was very adequate.

The hotel was okay. The room was nice. The bathroom shower needed some work. They need to redo the showers not only in the room we had but also our friend's room as well. Check in and check out was easy no problems. The breakfast was subpar. They could really work on that, powdered eggs are not good at all.
