Another fantastic stay at The Godolphin for us! The staff are so welcoming, warm and gracious from the receptionists to housekeeping and the dining staff. They’re so accommodating and welcoming of our children, which is so lovely. The food is divine; I especially enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi and pork belly and my husband loved the fish and chips and chocolate fondant. Staff go above and beyond every time to make the experience a lovely one. Special thanks to Prue and Riley for looking after us so well and the lovely girls on reception. We stayed in Penzer Point again and it’s such a gorgeous room; the view is everything!
We left a £60 as a small thank you; please enjoy a drink on us!!! We’ll be back again for sure.
From our first entry onto the property until the end, everything was first rate. Our main reason for staying there was to visit St Michaels Mount and both our room and breakfast had unobstructed views of the Mount. We had an amazing visit.
Recently stayed at the Godolphin hotel we stayed in St Michaels room was offered an upgrade to this room well worth it. Magnificent seaview with beautiful bay window worth treating yourself loved watching the tide coming in and out view of St Michae's Mount suoerb. . Best room I've stayed in for a long time am well travelled so extra compliments. Wonderful polite staff Pru at check in was so accommodating, lovely waiting staff and the cleaners were super. Very Dog friendly. Great atmosphere well Done Godolphin. 👏
The Godolphin in Marion exceeded our expectations. our lodging was roomy, well-appointed, and very clean. Views to the bay and Mount St. Micheal's were stunning from both the room and especially the balcony. Breakfast options for light and full appetites were appreciated. The dining room was wonderful. Light and airy with a glass wall overlooking the water and the Mount. The dinner menu offered a variety of options for all tastes. A particular shout-out to the wait staff for their attentiveness and service! the hotel is well-situated on the waterfront in the town center and allows for easy access to the Coastal Path, Mount Saint Micheal, and beautiful sand beaches. Public transportation (bus service) is good, with a stop at the front door of the hotel. it is in easy/short driving distance of Penzance and other coastal communities, historic sites, and natural areas. We highly recommend a stay here.
A bit disappointed with the menu compared to last year. The small plates on offer were too small and the large plates too big. I thought food was well cooked but by a different chef.

Room could use a new mattress but the view and staff made up for it. We stayed just to visit St. Michael’s mount. We had a stunning view of the mount and sea. Ate dinner and breakfast on site, walked on the beach, and the hotel allows you to park until 14:00. I would definitely come back!
When you arrive, you meet a welcoming staff, very helpful and friendly! They went out of their way to help with reservations for restaurant, champagne jolder with glasses & ice. The room was perfect, nice sitting area to gaze out at StMicheal’s Mount. We were in the Micheal’s room. Bed was comfortable, quiet room. The only thing I would mention is there is no air conditioning or ventilation. If you have windows open for breeze, can be very humid but otherwise, was excellent!! Would recommend
Loved it. the breakfast was super delicious and had gluten free options for me. The room was clean and had a great view of St Michael's mount. We would stay again.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The view from our room was amazing. The restaurant menu was small but food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The Cornish breakfast set us up for the day.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be booking again.
This hotel is a showstopper. We had a room overlooking the castle island and could hear the waves crash at night. The staff, the breakfast and all of the amenities were 5 stars all the way. We absolutely loved staying here.
We had the best 3 night stay at the Godolphin. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly with so much personality. One of the staff members -Lisa, was exceptional and made us feel special. I've never been to a hotel where every member of staff made it their priority to make you feel so welcome and looked after. Thank you for such a lovely time.
