I've been hoing to the keys my entire life and have never been so annoyed by roosters. There were plenty of roosters cockadoodle-dooing from 4:00 am on. Not good for sleeping.

The Worst Room EVER.

My room at this So-Called “Resort”, had a 2 foot long crack in the ceiling, water damaged nightstand with mold, Rust all over the refrigerator, mildew and muck over the shower. The room was gross enough to cause me to leave 5 hours after had checked in for a two day Memorial Day weekend trip. The only good thing is that they refunded my money. However, Kingsail “Resort” ruined my weekend getaway.

We really enjoyed the cost-effectiveness of this property compared to other places in the area. It felt like a sweet locally owned place that offered a clean, well-maintained environment and spacious rooms. We loved that it was situated right in the middle of the Florida Keys giving us easy access to all the islands. We also loved that it had its own marina and allowed free access to the kayaks!

Well worth the stay!

This resort was just perfect for my needs. Large screened porch and very spacious rooms. I would have given it an excellent except for two things. Its fantastic that you can use the kayaks for free. Unfortunately, since it was only me and there was no rope attached I found it difficult to get in and out of the boat with the floating dock. Beautiful pool and sits on pretty views. The other thing was the Roosters all around. Nice to look at but they will not let you sleep well! Please don't let my comments keep you from coming here. It was well worth the stay and very reasonable.

Nice motel style resort with pool. Parking for your vehicle outside your room. Basic clean accommodations for a reasonable price about an hours drive to Key West. Kitchenettes are available for a little more money. Downside was a rooster crowing in the morning otherwise good value for your money

Play hard, get up with the roosters!

We stayed at Kingsail Resort in Marathon for two nights. Like most rooms in the Florida Keys, the units are older, but they have been upgraded. The staff was friendly and very helpful. This resort is convenient to a number of restaurants and grocery stores. Publix is a short drive on Sombrero Beach Road. We were out exploring during the day, so this was a comfortable place to lay your head at the end of a day spent at the beach. No need to set an alarm: Play hard, go to bed with the chickens and wake with the roosters. It's all good!
