We spent one night in a standard room here on our way back from the Key West. Its a beautiful property with lots of places to sit, relax, picnic, watch the sunset. The pool area was very nice. The room was clean, but could use some updates. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Gulf view was a good stay for us in the keys, it could use a little updating here and there but that's pretty much what I've seen everywhere. Staff was excellent, we had an issue with arriving our first night due to wildfires. The booking through Expedia was non-refundable, both parties went above and beyond to make sure that we got our money back for our first night since we could not stay there. I would stay at Gulfview again!

We arrived very late, but there was no map in the lockbox to show where our room was. The room (15) was not up to the standards of a King Superior. It had no real useable kitchen. Two nights later we were given room 12 which was finel.

Amazing place to stay, we stayed on the 2nd floor the third floor was a bit noisy. Beautiful view of the water, staff were helpful and nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Before we arrived, we weren’t sure what to expect because the reviews were such a range of absolutely amazing or completely horrid. Our first time to the Keys, and we wanted an old school vibe that was quiet and relaxed, in the middle of the Florida Keys, and we could slow down and enjoy ourselves. The resort is older, but well maintained and clean. Yes, there are some dings in the flooring, and walls, but age isn’t dirt. I booked a deluxe king, and we had room 18, the Blue and Gold Macaw room. Communication with the front desk was EXCELLENT, our flight had been very delayed because of snow, and we weren’t sure if we’d arrive prior to front desk staff leaving for the night. They were very kind, professional, and thorough in explaining how we’d get the room key upon arrival. Parking was fine, loved the location, and the water view was lovely. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the kayaks, but chatted with staff about how to reserve them. The resort is very quiet, we talked to one of the neighbors twice, and otherwise felt like we had the place to ourselves. Housekeeping does not come daily - which I knew and was fine with. We asked for extra towels and paper products when needed, and received them promptly. Was a great stay for us.

Incredibly relaxing location! Quiet pool and small beach area. Nice property layout and wonderfully located amongst the keys. Negatives - only 1 knife in the kitchen, we asked for more but they had none. No broom or vacuum in room even though they don’t houseclean entire week. There’s more but it was all simple stuff that could easily be fixed, but cheap that way… Overall it was a great relaxing stay, you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of this place…
