The room was clean, comfortable bed & pillows. Not enough towels for 2 people. Trying to get housekeepers to understand what we needed was difficult (no English). Breakfast was much to be desired…..warm eggs and sausage. No waffle maker, only waffles to toast. No muffins or pastries! Served from 8-10 ONLY. Hard to get an early start, when it starts so late. Not enough tables for all the guests. ALSO, BEWARE OF RESORT FEE PER DAY!! It was stated in the booking, BUT, we (wrongly) thought it was included in our per day price. We had to pay $50 per day when we arrived. AND, we never got to enjoy the outdoor bar, because it is open W-Sat 5-10. Our stay was Sun- Wed. The WiFi was excellent! Plenty of free parking.

Not good value for the money.

The entire property needs a face lift. Lots of deferred maintenance throughout. The worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, did not go after the first day.

If your mold sensitive, do not stay.

The room was cute and bed was comfortable but the whole place smelled of mold. The moldy lampshades were filled with mold. I had already booked it for a few days, so I went to the grocery store and bought paper towels and microban cleaner and deep cleaned the room. The air conditioner just couldn't keep up with the humidity

We were charged an additional $59 a night for resort fees we had to keep asking about clean towels , water and our room was not serviced 3 days of our stay. Some employees did not speak or understand English so it make it difficult to communication asking for water or towels

Rooms okay.Resort fee a rip off!

The “ RESORT FEE” is why they get SO Many Bad reviews! There is a swimming pool and that’s it. Every hotel in south Florida has a swimming pool. If they continue charging $54 a day resort fee there going to end up loosing there business. They should just raise there prices.

Do be aware after purchasing on expedia they hotel charges another $59 daily resort fee . The pool was open but none of the bars, im not sure what the extra resort fee covers. Some staff does not speak or undrrstand english, which makes communication a difficult. Had to call for waters and towels each day, as well as our room was not cleaned on 2 of our days during our stay.

Our room was nice, seemed recently upgraded. We wanted to go to the bar, which was only open on the weekends, but it never opened. It looks like work is being done to improve the property so I expect the grounds to only get better. The free breakfast was minimal.

Banana Bay, needs upkeeping!

We stayed for 1 night. We went to the pool and there were no towels. We were never told we had to get pool towles from the front desk nor offered them at check in. Our balcony only had 1 chair and when we contacted the front desk, we were told they would try and find one. Maintenence arrived about an hour later with a chair. The pool deck is in poor condition with several boards needing replaced. We asked where the grill was at and we were told, it was out back. We found the grill in very poor condition. Definitely not able to be used. Breakfast was fair however we found the plastic silerware to be a subpar quality and broke 1 knife while trying to butter waffles and 2 knives trying to cut the sausage patties. The resort gounds needs better upkeep (weeds everywhere and junk bicycles next to the building) The building had automatic doors which were nice when taking luggage to and from the rooms. There is no elevator to gwt to the 2nd floor rooms. Also, the building had a smell, like they were trying to cover up a smell.

Beautiful surroundings

Beautiful surroundings and very clean apartment block and room. Only down side was a very noisy a/c unit. Apart from this loved our stay. Pool was perfect and area by the sea was so special.

Excellent place!

Such an adorable place to stay! We loved being able to stay here. We watched the sunset by the marina, sat by the pool and got to sleep in. The breakfast was great and had an excellent selection and everyone was so nice!
