Staff was very friendly, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The rooms smelled very clean we loved that about this location. We did not particularly care that the neighbors had a dog that barked any time it heard a noise. It woke us up a few times and was a little irritating. If we stay here again we will be sure to ask not to put us around anyone with barking dogs. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

Older building in the heart of Wooster, but very well kept and maintained. Staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious! Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Excellent.

Our stay was perfect. The receptionist was very kind, friendly and accomodating. I am pregnant and asked for a few extra pillows- she told me they dont usually have extras but she would check. Sometimes people just say this- but later that night when we had returned she had some delivered to my room without me asking/following up. I appreciated that! She also gave us complimentary water bottles. Also I’ve never been so impressed with hotel breakfast before haha it was very delicious. Wide variety and theres a bar that becomes quite popular at night (not in a drunk, loud, disruptive way at all). The local restaurants and stores are fantastic. Muddys was amazing. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Everything was great.

Horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. When I first got to the hotel and showered/changed, I went downstairs and was informed there was no restaurant/bar open due to construction. So I decided to go out and explore the town for food and drinks. After being out most of the night, I came back to the hotel around 3:00am and was found locked out of the main hotel lobby entrance. I knocked so many times and nobody answered. I then went to the side door where there was absolutely no lighting. I fell off the sidewalk curb because I couldn't see. I then limped back to the front door and knocked harder and the lady finally opened the door. Did not apologize or anything and then proceeded to tell me I should have went to the side and used my key. I told her there was no lighting over there and I saw no key access strip. I told her to review the cameras and she should leave the front doors unlocked. She just mumbled under her breath. This was absolutely a horrible experience for my first time visiting Wooster, Ohio. Have unprofessional text from the hotel too. App will not allow me to upload screenshot

Excellent Staff and Hotel!

We checked in on Thanksgiving and the clerk could not have been any kinder and helpful, even while working a holiday. She was excellent! The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, was very clean and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess was fantastic. She made certain that we received great service. We have stayed in many hotels and this was our best experience ever. Kudos and thank you to your staff for making our stay absolutely perfect!
