The Holiday motel is a quaint little motel in Manistique , Michigan. Absolutely welcoming. Ron is a joy. All his hard work in restoring this gem is very evident. Reminds me of old days along Route 66, happy days of yesterday. The furnishings were just what we needed. Had spent 2 nights at Grand Hotel on Macinac Island & this room far exceeded previous accommodations. The cleanest stay ever. Hope this little gem survives & if ever back in Michigan will definitely be a go to stay.

This is an older motel, but it has been well maintained and the manager is excellent! He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are clean, shower was great. My second time staying here and will definitely return.

Great spot in the U.P.
The friendly managers have taken excellent care in updating a vintage roadside motel into a chic place to spend a night or two. The knotty pine wall in the bedroom gave it a woodsy vibe. They have adirondack chairs and a firepit too. It is set back a bit from U.S. 2 and has good windows so we found it quiet for sleeping.

Lovely place!
Staff at the Holiday Motel were all friendly and helpful. The room I got was a "family room" with 3 beds (1 twin and 2 queens), which worked well for myself and my sisters. Loved the "Up North" themed decor! A word of caution though: The bathroom door doesn't have a lock so only go with people you trust to give you your privacy. Thankfully, I have kind sisters.

Loved this Americana motel! It was great for a quick overnight stay when we were driving through the UP. Very cute, woodsy atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful.
