Deposit policy is absurd!!!!
The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was satisfactory. Their deposit policy is ridiculous and goes against Hotels.com policy I believe. I was charged my room rate plus the incidental hold as a security deposit a BEFORE I even arrived and then they made me pay my room rate again when I checked in! I barely had enough money to stay at this point! When confronted about what happened the front desk staff offered not one ounce of sympathy or help and instead got rude and offended that I would question this business practice and just keep saying I'll get my huge deposit back! I can't afford to be out hundreds of dollars for days or a week or however long it takes them to refund my money, though they'll just say that's the bank and not them, but they sure can take my money instantly but goodness forbid its refunded instantly. I will never stay there again as long as they continue their criminal and predatory deposit policy. RIDICULOUS!!! Also I tried to let Hotels.com know that the hotels they represent and book has such practices and policies and they also had no real empathy and continually lied about the fees being clearly stated but refusing to show me on my confirmation email where it stated and kept saying that it's not their responsibility what Quality Inn does to their costumers.
