There was utter chaos regarding room cleaning on the first day, came back after a day out to find room in a mess and not cleaned although had informed front desk in the morning to have it cleaned. Was surprised to know that cutlery request has additional tray charge! Property otherwise was good, convenient location

The hotel was very nice and the family room that we had was huge. The location was great to get to the train station, so public transportation was very convenient. Other major locations were in walking distance. If you have kids, the adjacent park/playground is a must.

Conveniently located with secure parking nearby (£20 for 24 hours). Spacious hotel with friendly staff, fast service and great food. Value for money is excellent besides the spa costs. Booked services in the spa only to find maintenance taking place so some are unavailable and the wooden sauna out of action. A partial refund or wanting regarding these should have been given before booking as we could not fully utilise what we had paid for. No such thing was offered by the hotel disappointingly.

The Executive Rooms are well furnished with good views across the city. Breakfast was above the usual 4 star standard with freshly made omelettes, wide variety of cereals, and, cold meat, cheese and smoked fish platter.

I stay here regularly for business. Always comfortable and staff friendly & helpful. This time check in took far too long which was frustrating. Also a couple of machines in the gym were not working. At time of writing there is some refurbishment works going on.

I know that Marriott encourage associates to greet guests with an appropriate greeting but I didn't really appreciate the young man that checked us in greeting me with "Hiya Mate". I am 61 and I was raised in Manchester. I think that is just plain rude. Staff in the Great Room were not attentive or switched on. My daughter ordered Vegetable Jalfrezi and received Chicken Curry.

Marriott won’t disappoint.

Very convenient from the Piccadilly train station. We ordered room service which was quick. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and is of good value. Definitely will stay here again when in Manchester.
