Worst stay ever

Worst stat ever! Run down hotel grounds, uncomfortable beds, noisy guests no security. Fire alarm set off early hours of morning no reassurance from hotel staff or direction. Felt very unsafe

The rooms weren't awful, but that's about the only positive. Corridors smelt of w**d, loud banging coming from people outside rooms, woken at 3am by the person upstairs stomping around, slamming things and screaming at someone.

Bad mattress and bathroom

The service and customer service was excellent. The bed was terrible. I stayed in room 215 and the mattress was like a pyramid, high in the middle and sloping on each side. Could not get comfortable. At 12.40 am the TV came alive. Despite the fact I didn’t use it at all, it switched on at full blast., obviously waking me up startled, I think it may have picked up the signal from neighbouring room. It happened twice during the night which together with the terrible mattress resulted in very poor sleep. The bathroom was clean but VERY old. Definitely not a 3 star. Will not be staying there again.

Booking easy, staff really helpful. Room not like the picture on booking site, disappointed, although clean room needs attention a little tired with paint flaking off walls. Carpets had bits on them. No where to store clothes, plenty of room, beds not suitable for people of heavier weight, husband got up with pain in back due to no support. Fantastic breakfast, good variety
