I have stayed plenty of times and hit it lucky with the double room i had this time. It was in a quiet spot, so i wasnt woken by too much traffic, revellwrs shouting or attempting ti sung at ungodly hours, or bottles been dumped into bins as you often do in a party city. Bring an iron, they have taken them out of the rooms and you have access to one for the whole hotel near reception. It was so badly burnt and encrusted, it damaged my clothes. I always bring a travel iron, and regretted not doing so this time. The building and rooms are tired but it is about the cheapest in the area, so accept the payoff.

I’ve stayed here before and for 1 night it does but the lobby absolutely stinks of weed , on returning on the evening, the security guy was about to pull me for I.d until he saw I was with my wife so seemed a bit judgmental then also the room had a skylight in which was meant to have a curtain to pull across to block the light but this was missing. Not a great standard but put up with it for 1 night but wouldn’t stay here if any more than that.

Fabulous entrance lobby and communal area, with jaw-dropping staircase and chandelier, plush carpet. We’d booked an executive room which was adequate - goodness knows what the smaller rooms, or those without windows. The room had secondary double glazing - but the centre pane was missing - so lots of outside noise. But beds were reasonably comfy, the room was clean and it really it a great location for exploring the city, linking with buses and trams. And staff were so helpful.

STAY HERE NOT EASY HOTELS

First of all, I moved to this Hotel after leaving Easy Hotel Manchester, the later was appalling. If you want somewhere comfortable stay here, rooms have all facilities, unlike Easy Hotel. This is a proper Hotel, your room has everything you need, heater, hairdryer, fan, TV, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar. Cups, and Glasses, unlike Easy Hotel, that has none of these. Breakfast is available at check in, or you can pay when you go down. Reception staff were very helpful.
