Serves its purpose as an airport hotel

Budget hotel that provides everything necessary. Nice clean comfortable bed, decent shower, warm room. Excellent staff. Parked our car here for £8 a night rather than paying airport charges. Good shuttle service for £14pp return. Breakfast is £2.05 cheaper if booked on arrival but it's very basic and not great quality.

The Indian woman who performed check-in for me was courteous and helpful. I don't understand why the hotel didn't inform its guests beforehand where are the pick-up points at various terminals of the Manchester Airport. I came up from Leeds, at the Manchester Railway Station, there was no sign to show where is the hotel's pick-up point. Before I started my journey from Leeds to Manchester, I tried to call the hotel but the SIM Card I had could not provide connection with the hotel and I didn't want to bother others to call the hotel again. The room windows are seldom cleaned. When I pulled open the curtain, the dust and dirt on the windows was so obvious in the twilight.

It was just alright. On checking in, we were given the wrong room. We were then given the correct room type upon complaining. Both rooms we saw were clean-ish, bedding was clean but stained, and the ensuite was clean but generally lacking in attention to detail with regards to cleaning. It was overall a very mid-tier experience.

There was no drinking water available. There was a sign in the room saying water wasn’t suitable for drinking. So why provide tea/coffee making facilities? Heating wasn’t working. When we complained we had to pick up a heater ourselves from reception
