The staff wasn't very friendly and the lock on my door didn't work. It took me two extra visits to the front desk and they had to have someone from maintenance come to fix it.

Our stay was very good. The rooms are sparce but clean. It was exactly as expected when we made reservations. They did check us in early. Communication was a little difficult as we do not speak Portuguese and they spoke little English. We used Google translate in writing successfully. They arranged for taxi to airport at 1am so they were very helpful. Restaurant had limited hours.

Building quality very average to poor. Not a good experience. I would rate this hotel at 3 stars. Staff lacks warmth in their service. The Millennium Hotel is head and shoulder over this IBIS.
