Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. This was my first stay at an Outbound property. The Outbound Mammoth did not disappoint. I received a friendly and efficient check-in and was provided all the information I needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved our room and the upgrades made to it to make it more comfortable, especially during the colder weather. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and the grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.

Got the Deluxe Suite nice room but fireplace wasn’t working, accommodated another room. Said amenities were available ex Sauna, Steam Room, Fitness Center. The only thing that was functional was the Sauna but down the aisle covered with construction tarp.

Stopped halfway on a trip down East side of Sierras. Breathtaking region (at 8000 ft altitude and beautiful scenery). Our room was cozy and clean. Service response was quick after I noticed someone had disconnected the fridge and the freezer was full of meltwater. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wife and I stayed here for a couple days to go check out the fall colors and hike with our puppy. Staff was friendly and the room was just as advertised. Very dog friendly hotel with small dog park and walking paths with waste bags & bins. Great location near all the restaurants, grocery store, and ski shops. I would stay here again.
