The cabins are nice and have a mini kitchen and a comfortable bed. The area is quiet and the stars are
bright. The property is quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees. We were there off season and it was nice to sit on the front porch and listen to the red squirrels chatter and watch the chipmunks. It’s a good stay for 2-3 nights.
The property is lovely, convenient, and the owner and assistant were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Two negatives were that the walls were pretty thin, and yo could hear voices (muffled) on the other side. The other was that in the two nights/days that we were there we never were able to get onto the internet, even though we had the password correct. Despite those two things, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The property is a lovely spot surrounded by water and trees. We loved that kayaks and canoes were available for free. Although there is a grill outside, IF there had been an oven, the kitchen would have been even better for preparing food. There are not many restaurants nearby nor grocery stores, so be aware before you stay @ this beautiful, serene spot. Despite the limited food option for the lodge room that we stayed in, I would return to this gorgeous location
I loved it here. We had a busy start to our trip to Canada and arriving here for two nights was just the perfect place to take it a little slower and enjoy the surrounding. Our hosts were responsive and helpful on booking and our check in was easy. We felt very welcome not just by our hosts but by some of the local fauna who like to say hello. We enjoyed the walks through the woods and by the lake, and being in a 'dark skies' area were treated a spectacular night sky. I would have no hesitation in recommending and would visit again if in the area.
My husband is in a wheelchair and this resort was perfect for him! The cabins were accessible, the boardwalk runs the entire property along the river - having no tv or wi-fi was an added bonus :)
Clean spacious Chalets, clean gas BBQ grill, free use of canoes and kayaks. The property is so quiet and spacious. We just loved this place, didn’t want to leave.
Beautiful property on the shores of the Mersey River. We stayed in a lodge room for just a single night arriving after dark. The office was dark and there was no sign on the outside of the door to indicate how to contact anyone. Some guests walking their dogs told us the office was open and there was a sign inside as to what to do. All worked well and we were tucked into our room before long. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. In the morning we walked around the property and explored some. They have boardwalks all along the riverside with sitting and picnic areas. There is also a tenting area and cabins. Would be lovely for a longer stay

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Splendid stay in the countryside.
Lovely stopover near the park. Kindly allowed us to check-in early and free use of kayaks and canoes was great.
The property was quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the lodge and the rooms were clean and well appointed. We stayed only one night, but wished it could have been longer, so we could have enjoyed more of what they had to offer!
We had not planned the need to bring food (due to our own poor organization) and had to drive quite a ways after check out before we could find breakfast the next morning. However, this did not deter from our enjoyment of our stay!
The contact prior to arrival was good and it was a pleasure to meet the owner. She was friendly and very keen to answer any questions we had and offered advice about where to visit whilst staying in the area. It was very quiet at night and sleeping was no problem. The chalet was warm, clean and spacious. We took advantage of the canoes at the property and know there were other amenities that were available. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I were in the area.

It’s a great experience! My friend and I booked the room one day before the stay. When we come to this place to check in! We realized it is shch a great place to live with families for weekends. It closes to the national park/camping/ canoeing/kayak and barbecue ! We also see a lot of snapping turtles laying eggs! So much fun!
We had wonderful relaxing stay. We love the rusticness, calm and quiet. We loved our constant company of the many Hummingbirds at our cabin as well as the many other animal's and overall nature around us. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. The entire grounds including the cabin are clean and tidy.
We are already planning another stay here in the future. ❤️
