It was just an overnight stay so didn’t spend a lot of time there. Hotel is lovely and the breakfast buffet was a very good value. The airport shuttle is also a great plus and very efficient. Be sure to book it when you check in to ensure you get on especially if mid morning.

Hotel is conveniently located nearby the MAD airport and provides for complimentary shuttle service. While the lobby bar and restaurant seem to have been renovated recently, the rooms have not. Our AC was not working well, and our bathroom door was broken. Granted, since we only stayed for one night, we did not contact the staff to have these resolved.

Well, where do I start? Booked a room at Meliá in Madrid by the airport to catch an early flight to Miami. Booked a king size bed. Upon arrival front desk staff was nice and receptive. Building looks a little outdated (built in the 60’s). Got to our room and we had 2 full beds pushed together to make a king. Took a shower and when I got out the towel I used was tattered on the edge. When my wife used the next towel it had a hole the size of a quarter in it

We loved the corteous service, the comfortable beds and amazing breakfast. The restaurant at night is also a great option with excellent staff.

I booked this hotel as I knew I would be flying out early the next day. The staff was attentive and respectful (with the exception of the waiter at the restaurant, Trasluz), the room was big and super clean. Breakfast is fantastic, you won’t regret it! The only downsides were that there were no toiletries in the bathroom and I had to go downstairs to ask for a shower cap. I also booked thinking it would be a lot of fun to go in the pool but once I got ready and went to ask for a towel I was told the pool had already closed for the season, even though it is still oficial summer in Madrid and it is currently 30c outside. Considering there is not much to do in the immediate area outside the hotel and the temperature is still hot, my suggestion to the hotel would be to extend the days your pool is open. If you are booking for the pool, I advise you ask ahead of time if it will be in fact open during your visit.
