It was okay
Everything was just okay, when we arrived I waited probably 10mins for someone to come to the front desk. When the front desk agent got there they had their AirPods in their ears, seemed annoyed that they even had to check me in. Our room was fine, but everything seemed just a little dirty, our toilet had what looked like blood on the side and on the wall beside the garbage and toilet.

Very clean rooms, free bottled water, coffee (decent), and fresh fruit. Plus a little convenience area with snacks, beverages, and beer or wine to buy. Breakfast was servicable, but we hardly ever eat hotel breakfasts. It was clean and fresh wirh the typical choices. Nice game area, workout room. Friendly staff every time we stay there (now 6 times). It's always our first choice in Madison.

Great choice for bargain price
We were impressed by this hotel. It was conveniently located. All staff we encountered were friendly. The hotel was clean—both our room and the public areas. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and clean. We also liked that the eating area was spread out, so we had some privacy while eating. The room was basic but had plenty of room for sleeping and getting ready for the day. The floors in the room are not carpeted, which was a little chilly. This is not a luxurious place, but for the very reasonable price, it was a great place to stay.

I think going over security and guest safety protocols would be useful for your staff. As my ex who ive had police involvement with, was able to confirm with the front desk staff that a room was booked in my name, and made the front desk staff call up to my room to ask me to come down to speak with him. This could have gotten me killed. I should have called the police at that point. He stayed and waited outside the hotel all night and was there as i left and followed me driving thereafter. No guest services member should ever verify any identity of any guest under any circumstances. Especially a lone female checking in.
