I was charged $160 more for booking through 3rd party site. One whole wall in the room did not have power/electricity and it took them over a day to correct and having to ask multiple times. One tv in the room did not work properly. I told the front desk. It was never fixed during our stay.

Overall, a nice property for the price. It's a short walk into town and to the ferry terminal from the hotel. Room was big but outdated with tiny TV's, broken tiles on our counter. The balcony was nice but unusable because of all the bugs. It would be nice if it was screened in. Front desk staff seemed bothered when I stopped to ask questions. Upon checkin, I was told they sold ferry tickets. When we went to purchase them the next morning, I was told they weren't selling them that day. If you are looking for a bed and a hot shower, this is the perfect place. No frills or extras.

The staff was super helpful of getting us a new room after the first placement smelled like smoke. New room had limited working plugs (all by beds) 1/2 tv nonworking and VERY outdated everything.

We had a great view of the lake and the bridge. Only 2 ice machines for 4 floors! I could tell it was built fast and cheap. The quality of the construction was very evident. We also had issues with the TV’s not working properly.

Our room was quite hot when we arrived. We turned on the air conditioning, but a couple of hours, it was no cooler. We called the desk and requested someone to help. A man came and told us the air conditioner was fine, we just need to open the windows. I have allergies and am not supposed to have open windows. The room remained hot and the experience was very uncomfortable. There was trash around the parking lot and it was unseemly.
