Excellent location, our front room was spotless with a bay window though the traffic was very noisy from early morning. Also a pity that, despite being told about my friend's gluten intolerance, no.attempt was made at breakfast or on the evening menu to accommodate. Only one staff member apologised each of the three mornings A good cafe opposite and the Co-Op saved her,

The room was exceptional. So warm and inviting. Food in the evening and the following morning breakfast was very good. Staff so helpful too. Wonderful relaxing stay.

Great place

Great stay although we had confirmation of a three bed room. Which we eventually got due to the single room having a leak. What I booked and Hotels confirmed wasn’t the room we were initially offered. You need to clarify exactly what’s booked by your customers and ensure the hotel has the correct details to meet with those expectations.

Great place

Lovely location and a recommended spot if stopping by Lyme Regis. Private parking might be very busy but it wasn't a problem parking near by.

Room was comfortable, although tv only worked intermittently, but facilities were good. Breakfast service is slow, but the food is very nice. Parking is it tight, we were lucky to get the last space, and didnt have to move our car until we went home.

Hotel showing its age and not able to cater for our dietary requirements. But breakfast was good and there’s a lovely indoor pool. Convenient for town and beach and has parking which is a big bonus.

Quaint rambling old building. Unfortunately I had an accident in the bedroom due to the sloping floor. I was aware of the floor and was very cautious but alas still had a serious slip . Bath and shower were very good as were tea and coffee provision. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate but the fruit and pastries were not replenished as the service progressed. We were disappointed that the Pool was out of use and we had not been made aware of this when booking, but looked nice. Parking was easy and the hotel is in a great location for the beach and promenade. Unfortunately the few days we were there was spoilt because of my accident.

Next to Lyme Regis front beach, 1 minute walk. Walking distance to Charmouth beach walking along the beach, 50 minutes and 1.5 miles. Walking distance to Monmouth Beach, ammonite pavement, 20 minutes walk. There’s a pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. You got to book first, one hour each family/room. The services of checking in, breakfast, and so on were professional. Room was clean and quiet. The only downside is some light daints on the carpet floor, but they’re cleaned just hard to remove. This was a very minor issue. My comment is based on the sale price. So it added to the great stay experience.

Great location but hotel in need of refurbishment

We liked the friendly reception at our arrival but where disappointed with the room. The overall impression of the room was run down and in urgent need of refurbishment.The twin beds, though comfortable, had very stained headboards! The large bathroom, had torn liner carpet and the water pressure/mixing of cold/hot water was difficult to control. The towels were fluffy and there was plenty of nice shampoo/shower/handwash available. We also did not like that the room was sprayed with a type of air freshener, It was too much! At breakfast, we felt the tables were very sticky from using possibly a spray polish? The cooked food selection was o.k. but the cold breakfast selection was not great, so it was not value for money.
