Never stay here!

Very dirty, hairs in the bathroom, dirty bedding, very loud music until 3am! We considers sleeping in our car it was so bad! Room far too hot no window and it was like being in a box! The hotel had awful smells, mainly what appeared to be drugs!

Hot, stuffy, and smelly

Unfortunately not a great stay. We have stayed here before, when it was under the EasyHotels name. we had no problems then. We arrived to our room and the first thing we noticed was the smell - our bathroom had a gross odour, like a waste sewage and vomit. It was hardly bearable when showering or using the bathroom but as we were checking out at 3am, we didn’t bother reception about a room change. I noticed hairs on the bathroom floor (and not the type from your head if you know what I mean). Because there was only a chair as a surface, I had to put my clothes on the floor, which I was okay with until I picked them up and they were dusty. Later on, we tried to get to sleep but our room was unbearably warm. There is no window, which we knew and were fine with, but because of this, there are ventilation ‘holes’ in the ceiling that should have air con flowing. I found it really uncomfortable to sleep as there is also a bright neon green light above the door that lights the whole room even when the main lights are off. I assume this is an emergency light, which I appreciate but it was too bright to fall asleep. My partner asked reception if we could switch rooms at this point but they were fully booked. They did turn our air con down which helped the temperature but we noticed only two vents (two by the door) were working and not the one next to the bed. The walls are thin and you can hear others watching tv or talking. We got zero sleep. The staff were very nice and polite.

A few issues made for an average stay

Refused for the longest time to let me and my child check in without proving that they were my child. I live in the UK, the hotel is in the UK. I've never been asked this before. Secondly, while the room is cheap, the lights kept randomly turning on and flickering once I had turned them off so in the end to get sleep, I had to take the card out of the room slot which meant no lights (even bathroom) worked! The sound insulation is very poor so you can hear everything in other rooms. The lifts were out of order. If the issues were sorted out, the room would have been good value for money.

It was a very small room. There was almost no room to move, but it should be expected for the price. The bed and room were clean and close to Luton airport, which was the reason we booked it.

DO NOT go here if you are looking for a cheep stay, they are horribly mannered and lack respect. Please find somewhere were they value you more then just a quick buck they know they can exploit because of the price.

The room smelt musty, I sprayed with body spray to make it less musty, bed very firm, very small? I lsidsgsinst the wall and smelt damp, no offer of extra pillows, too warm to sleep only 3 hours managed and had an early start

Woeful stay. Room hotter than the sun with no means to turn anything down or open a window in a window room. Walls to the hallway were paper thin and random noises coming from all areas all night. Mattresses solid as rock with a bed frame of literally wooden blocks which sounds like a ship whenever you turned. Luckily stayed for 5 hours only before a flight, will never use again.

It was conveniently close to the Luton airport. BUT… It was quite loud at night. The step up to the bathroom was too high. The shower curtain did not contain the shower water so the bathroom floor stayed very wet. There should be at least two USB outlets in the room, but there were none. The building did not have a very fresh smell.
