Pleasant hotel find in Lumberton
In route to Florida, we found ourselves tired and needing to stop for the night and chose Lumberton. The check-in was very pleasant. Liz was especially nice making us feel welcome right off the bat.

For the most part the stay was amazing, had a great selection for breakfast and well maintained and cleaned, one of the elevators was very squeaky , the pool and Whirlpool both need some TLC and there was only one towel in the pool room so three of us and to walk back to or room soaking wet . And the jets on the whirlpool never came on the timer seems to be broken .

Hubby and I went on a trip to Maryland to see family from Florida. This hotel, by far, was THE BEST hotel we stayed in during our entire trip. Marriott NEVER disappoints. We loved everything about this hotel, from staff, to location to the room, monies were well spent. We will be back!

A nice play to stay. A good location, good breakfast. When checking out, no one was at the front desk to receive the key cards. Another guest and I waited several minutes and finally left the cards on the desk.

The property was very nice. The staff and the ladies who set the breakfast service up were awesome. The only complaints I have is related to our room and I let the Front Desk know about the situation at the time I checked out. There was an issue with the light over the microwave/refrigerator area but caused me no big problem. However, when I pulled out the sleeper sofa, the mattress pad was filthy with food crumbs and old facial tissues. I removed it before putting the clean bed linens on.
