We used this place as a base for our visiting many different places around the area each day. Very close to Onekama and Arcadia where we did a lot of hiking. The breakfast discount at Lakeside Cafe in Bear Lake was used every morning. We were in room 112 and unfortunately the dead bolt did not line up properly with the door; therefore we were not able to secure our door with that extra safety precaution.

We just needed a place to sleep. We weren't there much. It was 2 minutes from our first event, so that was great. The bed was fine. The water is from a well, so we weren't used to the taste. The staff was outstanding. It was perfect for our needs.

I didn't expect this modest hotel to be so nice. The rooms smelled fresh and we could open the window to allow in the fresh air (a plus for us). It was extremely quiet despite being full capacity. We received coupon for discount on breakfast and really enjoyed the local eatery. I would stay again.

The location was great for day trips to areas around onekema,crystal mt and Frankfurt. Sad to arrive and find my room was filthy and when I brought it to the manager’s attention they apologized but their comment of well it’s not the Hilton still sticks with me also their website had pic of a pool and they list bonfire area neither of these amenities were there

Staff was absolutley amazing, very nice and knowleable of the location. Offered maps and special beach location which was an absolute dream. Rooms were cozy, clean, and affordable. It was my wifes bday and the staff gave her a special gift. Ill be returning, they made our trip memoreable.

Nice and reasonably affordable
My wife and I took a trip up North for our anniversary. The motels in Frankfort where expensive. We decided to stay at the Alpine in Bear Lake which was about 20 miles from our destination. It was much more affordable and was surprisingly nice. We would stay again.

Overall cleanliness of rooms and location was excellent. Inn close to fun putt putt, tasty restaurants, Sleeping Bear dunes, Arcadia dunes, marsh and beach and Empire Beach.
