The staff were helpful and the location is great. It is walking distance to lake, train station, and chapel bridge. However, it is very old. No air conditioning in the rooms! The room was so extremely hot and stuffy we could not sleep. They provide fan but it really did nothing to help. Our bathroom door did not close either.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Good assortment of foods for the continental breakfast. Area convenient to Old Town and train station. Only downside was no air conditioning in the rooms. This was noticed upon booking the hotel, but I didn’t think it would be needed at the end of May. A fan was provided, along with leaving window open at night provided some relief.

We loved our 3 night stay. The staff were very helpful and one of the best parts of being there. The rooms are typical for most of Europe: small, without a lot of extras. But the hotel has a breakfast room/lounge area with coffee and drinks available and a shared fridge to put things in. The breakfast was wonderful and had a wide variety. The room was perfect for us to relax, play cards, have snacks. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This property is a short easy walk from the train station. It’s in a nice, clean area that is also just a few minute walk to the historic district. The hotel had an elevator and breakfast had a wide array of options with plenty of fresh berries for yogurt and fresh pastries and cheese/meats. I would recommend and stay here again!

Cozy stay in the heart of Luzern

We enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Central Luzern. It is a cozy and quaint hotel, with elevator service and complementary breakfast. Coffee, water and tea are available 24/7. There’s also a refreshment refrigerator with soda, beer, and wine for sale. It was quite noisy on the street from local bars and rooftop parties on Friday and Saturday nights, so we were unable to leave the window open for fresh air. The fan helped circulate the air in the room. The hotel and guest rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. The employees were friendly, and breakfast was delicious as well.

We loved our stay at Hotel Central Luzern. It worked great for us being just minutes from the Bahnhof and walkable to all of the sights in the city. The temperature was fine for us, but there is no air conditioning (at least when we visited). If you have to open the window for airflow, it can be noisy on a weekend night. Overall, we would stay again. The staff, service, and room were excellent. The breakfast was also great, and the location was super convenient.

Hotel is very close to the train station as well as Old Town, Chapel Bridge and Boat Tours. It also offers a delicious breakfast with friendly staff. Coffee, Tea, fruit, and sometimes sweet treats are available 24 hours in the “breakfast” room. We stayed in a superior room which was very small and the bathroom had the feel of being in a camper… super small! We would stay there again because of the inexpensive rate and location. If you are looking for luxury this is not the hotel for you
