Put me in a weird attached first floor room outside the hotel by the rear parking. There were vagrants out back. The room was sprayed with something and I couldn’t breathe. I tried to air it out by opening the window, when I realized the large sliding window didn’t lock and it was at ground level. I got a migraine from the spray and asked front desk to cancel my stay. The front desk was nice and explained they spray KILZ in the room. I got a refund, so they made it right.

I stayed just to sleep overnight. The hotel is old. The room was not very clean (dirt on the bathroom door). The room didn't have the light switch working. Bathroom had black mold on the ceiling.

fancier La Quintas I’ve graced with my presence
Ah, the hotel was quite the gem—definitely one of the fancier La Quintas I’ve graced with my presence! Upon arrival, I encountered a little hot water drama. I ran the tap for a solid half-hour, giving it a motivational speech, and eventually, the hot water arrived fashionably late! I suppose being on the 6th floor—the penthouse for plain folks—didn’t help my cause, especially since the hotel was as crowded as a library on a Friday night. The only hiccup on this otherwise delightful stay was the WiFi: it was like a bad relationship. One moment, we were Netflix and chillin’, and the next, it ghosted me. Super frustrating when you’re just trying to binge-watch your favorite shows!
