This property was horrible. My husband and I checked in and I am six months pregnant. We got there at 12 PM and they said the room will not be ready until 4 PM. We then waited in the lobby where there was no air conditioning, flies and bugs all over the place. We were talking to a couple that stayed there and said that they found a roach in their room and they were waiting to be moved to a different room. We told the front desk that we are going to get a different hotel because of the cleanliness and what we just heard. She said to contact Expedia for a refund. When we called, we got no refund and they told us that they will not be refunding us. We left this property and went to the Marriott hotel, where it was beautiful. The service was amazing and it was very clean. Opposite from this hotel, this hotel was disgusting and dirty.

SUCH AN AMAZING PROPERTY! I DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK AND STAY ON THE ADULT ONLY SIDE AGAIN! THE WAITER(S) NAMED CARLOS, CHES-TER, FRANKIE, ANGELICA, DIANE WAS ALL ATTENTIVE AND GREAT! AS WELL AS KINRON FROM ROOM SERVICE, OUR HOUSEKEEPER, AND EVEN THE SECURITY GUARDS (TOO MANY TO NAME LOL)! I DO LOVE THE FACT THAT THE SECURITY GUARDS ARE ON POINT WHEN THE PEOPLE FROM THE FAMILY FRIENDLY SIDE TRY TO COME TO OUR SIDE BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T PAY THE PRICE WE DID SO THEY ABSOLUTELY SHOULDN’T BE ON OUR SIDE!!!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Sonesta Ocean Point Adults Only! The resort was peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We spent most of our time at Azul, which served the best food we’ve ever had at a resort—especially breakfast and dinner with ocean views and outstanding service. The adults-only side felt like a completely different world compared to the family side—calm, never crowded, and ideal for couples. We visited the family side for lunch at the buffet (which was great), but always ate back on the quiet side. Entertainment was fun and engaging, and Maho Beach right next door was a highlight. Watching the planes fly in low was unforgettable—check the SXM Airport site for arrival times. We took a 4-wheeler tour with Blue Bubbles—highly recommend! Staff across the resort were friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. Only small cons: the in-room liquor was low quality, and we wish they played more Soca music. Unfortunately, some loud guests arrived on our last day, but that didn’t take away from our overall experience. Solid 5/5, and we’ll definitely be back next time with friends!

The property is beautiful. Loved all of the pools. Food and drinks were just ok, except for the Azul restaurant which was excellent. Great service and the menu changes every night. The location is great - lots of shopping, restaurants and a casino just outside of the property- all walking distance.

The elevators at the property was always dirty the floors where unkeep the pools where not clean the room AC was not working properly some of the staffs was not nice the best restaurant was Azul the staffs was amazing no AC inside elevators was broken they need more food on the menu for room service like wings and the sweets was not good step it up because paying all that money upgrade please

John who was on the grill for hot dogs and hamburgers was AMAZING! Great Energy and so pleasant! You need more staff like him! The bartenders need some customer service training majority were not pleasant at all and it felt like you were bothering them to get a drink.

maho Is advertised as and ocean point adults only but it’s actually not, it’s all mixed and there are just some places that kids can’t go to on the adults side. But if I choose an adults only resort I expect to not see kids anywhere at the resort as if wanted to be with kids I would bring my own
