We’ve stayed here before but this time we were in the villas not the main hotel. The rooms were ordinary but fine for two nights. Hard to justify the price tag though. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The in-room dining was the WORST I have ever experienced. Not only was the food served in paper bags in takeaway containers with no cutlery, serviettes or salt and pepper but it was absolutely horrible.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Rydges as we were going to a wedding on the Saturday afternoon The room was clean and a good size. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and nothing was too much trouble on request. The breakfast buffet was delicious with more than enough to choose from. I particularly liked how organised they were with tea and coffee orders. We had a fabulous waitress called Corinne who was there for the 3 mornings and her friendliness and bubbly personality made the mornings brighter. She gave us advice on wineries to visit etc and was just a pleasure to meet. The downstairs bar and bistro was wonderful and adjoined the large pool area. There was plenty of food choices on offer for adults and kids and a comfortable but casual dining experience. We couldn’t fault the service there as well. The grounds were really big and fabulous for golfers etc. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. Many thanks, Debra and Rob Sykes

Good for families. Nice breakfast. Good location, close to wildlife park. Good size family villa. Restaurant could have a Few mor varieties for kids menu. Overall a nice family getaway. Staff super friendly and accomodating. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Rydges, however our checkin was very slow. There were two people working with customers ( who took forever to get their room). We were next in line. A third person was working behind a desk. I thought they could have helped in checkin.

Everyone was so friendly!! Kids had so much fun at the pool. Awesome kids waterpark. Loved the train rides and kids activities. Golf course right there. Excellent buffet breakfast. So much options for eggs and the pastries were yum!
