Usually great, but stay away from ice machine

I stay at this Wingate Inn several times per year and it’s such a good value that I don’t even check listings for other hotels. But this 1-night stay was awful due to one issue…the room was adjacent to the ice machine and soda machine that caused significant vibrations in the room. At 1:00 am, I asked to change rooms and they immediately complied with my request and they gave me a room far from these vibrating machines.

The staff did their best, overall, the property is average, no better. Breakfast was basic, the exercise room was ok, not really clean. Our bathroom was not very light and we had to hold the handle down for a minute on the toilet before it would flush. The bed was clean, I liked the cold lemon water in the lobby, and the staff tried to make everything as good as possible. The hotel is in a good location, close to good restaurants and other activities. Just don’t think it is better than average.

The hotel worker did not great us when we walked in. The whole hotel smelled like pot. Breakfast was less than desirable. Shower never got warmer than lukewarm. Room was spacious and fairly quiet.

We stay here every time we go to Louisville. Reasonably priced. Friendly employees. It is always very clean. Very quiet. You don’t hear outside noise or other people tv’s or doors closing. Good selection for breakfast

Good place to stay

This hotel was not fancy but the staff was friendly and helpful! The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was good each day. The pool is clean. Overall a good place to stay

One of my reasons for staying here was to utilize the EV charging station-our 1st night here, they were not working. I informed the staff and asked them to let me know if they get the problem solved-never heard back all weekend. Cleanliness was okay inside, but the property outside was littered with trash. The breakfast was ok for "free", but nothing to write home about. Not my greatest experience here.
